The newest Golf GTI increases fuel-efficiency ratings while adding more horsepower and standard equipment than previous models.
NORTH HILLS, Calif., July 2014 – Galpin Volkswagen, the nation’s fifth-ranked volume dealer, announces today the arrival of the all-new 2015 Volkswagen Golf GTI.

The seventh-generation Golf GTI starts at $24,395, making it a smart choice for consumers looking for affordable everyday performance. Add $1,495, and you get the Golf GTI Performance Package, which includes larger brakes, electronically-controlled torque sensing limited-slip differential and 10-HP boost over the regular GTI model.
The 2015 Volkswagen Golf GTI features a 2.0-liter turbocharged direct-injection engine that makes 210 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque, which are 10-HP and 51 pound-feet higher than the previous-generation GTI model.
“The new Golf GTI model is a winner. The handling and performance is superior to any other hatchback out there,” said Schwartz.
While it’s bigger and more spacious than the previous model, it’s also lighter and more fuel-efficient. The Golf GTI comes in with an EPA-estimated highway fuel economy rating of 34-miles per gallon, for models equipped with the manual transmission.
